Administrator Bios
 

Kevin Dawson has worked for the district since June 2012, when he was hired to be a teacher at Mt. Juliet Middle School.

In 2014, he was selected to be an assistant principal at Wilson Central High School. During his tenure as assistant principal, he was selected to be a fellow in the 2016 Governor’s Academy for School Leadership.

Mr. Dawson served as principal of West Wilson Middle School before being named principal of Green Hill High School.

Prior to working for Wilson County Schools, Mr. Dawson worked as a teacher, coach, and athletic director in Tennessee for ten years.

Melissa Amadio is honored and excited to join the Green Hill High School family as the 9th-grade Assistant Principal. Mrs. Amadio's background includes serving as a school counselor and educational leader, and she earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership.

Mrs. Amadio is passionate about building meaningful relationships, supporting student success, and helping teachers thrive. She believes every student deserves to feel challenged, supported, and valued.

Mrs. Amadio looks forward to partnering with the students, families, staff, and community to continue Green Hill High School's tradition of excellence. She looks forward to beginning this exciting new chapter together. Go Hawks!

Mrs. Kelly MacLean has served in various teaching and educational leadership roles for the past 20 years in both Rutherford and Wilson Counties. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary English Education from Murray State University, a Master's degree in Library Information Science from Trevecca Nazarene University and an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University.  Mrs. MacLean won the TNASSP Middle TN Assistant Principal of the Year in 2023. 

Mrs. MacLean is the Assistant Principal for 11th grade & Dual Enrollment/Early College Academy coordinator at Green Hill.

Mr. Smith is excited to be the 10th-grade Assistant Principal at Green Hill High School. He has 14 years of experience in education, beginning his career in Wisconsin before spending the past eight years at Nolensville High School. Mr. Smith has served as a history teacher, Dean of Students, coach for multiple sports, and in a variety of other leadership roles.

Mr. Smith is originally from Michigan and earned his bachelor's degree in History from St. Norbert College (WI) and his master's degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.

Outside of school, Mr. Smith enjoys spending time with his daughter, running, and watching his favorite sports teams. He looks forward to building relationships and supporting the staff and students of Green Hill High School.

Mrs. Courtney Quisberg has been with Green Hill High School since opening in 2020.  She has been an educator since 2008, all with Wilson County Schools. Mrs. Quisberg holds a Bachelor of Science in General Science with a minor in Secondary Education from Middle Tennessee State University and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Bethel University.  She has taught both Science and Computer Technology at Mt. Juliet Middle School.  She was formerly an Assistant Principal at West Wilson Middle School.  Growing up in Mt. Juliet, Mrs. Quisberg is proud to be a part of Green Hill High School and serving this community. Mrs. Quisberg is the Assistant Principal for 12th grade.
