Art Club

Art club is where students come together to create artwork outside of school. This club is intended for students who love to create and would love to build their experience in diverse mediums. There is a fee of $20 which covers material costs and an Art Club T-Shirt.

Best Buddies/Inclusive Youth Leadership

An organization for creating meaningful friendships and purposeful opportunities for individuals with disabilities, as well as promote and educate others about the importance of inclusion.
Meetings will be held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from 4:00 to 5 PM.
Civic Engagment Club

Meetings: Wednesdays after school
The Civic Engagement Club allows students to engage in international and local politics, by participating in the YMCA Center for Civic Engagement's Model United Nations and Youth in Government conferences. Model United Nations is held in Murfreesboro in November, and revolves around solving international issues. Youth in Government is held in downtown Nashville in late February/early March, and revolves around debates on Tennessee state issues. We meet weekly after school to prepare for these conferences.
Cultural Exchange Club

Encourage inclusion and assimilation of GHHS Exchange students into the student body through relationship building, cultural sharing (Language, customs, idioms, and culture) with GHHS Student body and staff.
Meeting time will be Thursday mornings.
FCA

A service organization for Green Hill Hawks based on the principles of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. You do not need to be an athlete to participate.
Meeting times are TBA but will be one day a week before school.
Freedom on the Hill - YPC (Youth Prevention Coalition)

Green Hill FFA

Green Hill FFA is an intracurricular club that promotes premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agriculture education. The National FFA Organization is the largest youth organization in the country. To be part of FFA, you must currently be enrolled in an agriculture class. The club dues are $5.00. We meet monthly, as well as offer the chance for students to compete in Career Development Events and Leadership Development Events.
GHHS Fashion Club

GHHS Fashion Club is an organization centered around passion for ethical and sustainable fashion. Bi-weekly meetings are held filled with fun projects, informational sessions, and service projects. Such as school-side clothing drives. GHFC has developed a community who loves all things fashion: the history, trends, tips and more; everyone is welcome!

Green Hill Satire Club

Hawk Theater

Students can audition and interview to be in the cast or crew for the Hawk Theater's mainstage shows!
This next season we will have two Theater 3/4 shows, which are by audition only for students enrolled in the Theater 3/4 class. The Hawk Theater Fall mainstage play will be Ghostlight and the Spring musical will be Mary Poppins. Whether working in the crew or performing in the cast, there is a place here for you! HOSA

HOSA-Future Health Professionals is a global student-led organization, whose mission is to promote career opportunities within the healthcare industry. Our goal is for every member to be fulfilled by active engagement in serving an important role through event planning, fundraising, educational awareness, and community service. Members can look forward to medical guest speakers, hosting the annual blood drive, competitive events at the state and international level, professionalism and healthcare career readiness training, and SO much more!
The GHHS HOSA chapter meets once per month as a whole and at least once per month with their healthcare committee of choice.
Interact

Interact is a public service club that works with our local Rotary Club on various charitable causes.

Math League
Sponsor: Mr. Tinley
Green Hill's state champion mathematics competition squad. We tackle challenging problems that draw upon all high school math disciplines and compete in virtual competitions against teams from all over the country.
Practices are held Thursday mornings before school with competitions on weekends.
Mock Trail
Sponsors: Laura Allen (Morgan)
The Mock Trial Team is a team of students simulating a real trial case. At the beginning of the year, the Tennessee Bar Association releases a case that is used by all high schools and these teams compete. The case alternates between criminal and civil cases every year. Students play the roles of judges, lawyers, defendants and witnesses etc. It teaches the basics of trial courts.

National Honor Society

The Green Hill Chapter of the National Honor Society is open to juniors and seniors with a minimum 3.85 unweighted GPA who demonstrate a commitment to the four pillars of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. The chapter engages in community service throughout the year, both in the Green Hill and Mt. Juliet communities. Members must pay yearly dues, complete 10 hours of community service each year, and attend regular monthly meetings of the chapter. Applications for membership are opened for new members each fall.
Orthodox Christian School Ministry (OSCM)

OCSM unites high school students on their respective campuses in prayer, fellowship, and service. OCSM inspires students to live out the True Faith and impact their world for Jesus Christ concurrently with their academic life at school.
Prayer Club

The purpose of Prayer Club is to have a branch of a FCA focused on prayer.
Meet: We will meet on Monday's and Friday's.
Ping Pong Club
Sponsor: Mr. Tinley
Table tennis practice and competition for all ability levels. Participants can learn the rules and basic techniques of one of the world's most popular table sports or can sharpen their skills against seasoned players.
Practices are held on Tuesday before school and Friday after school.
Science National Honor Society

Green Hill High’s Science National Honor Society is open to juniors and seniors with an interest in science. The purpose of SNHS is to encourage participation in the sciences, advance knowledge, and to participate in community service. Students must be enrolled in an upper level science course, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, and a science GPA of at least 3.75. Applications will be available in early August.

Signing Hawks

The Signing Hawks Sign Language Club creates opportunities for students to learn American Sign Language (ASL) and understand Deaf Culture to be inclusive of classmates with hearing loss. We support and encourage members in obtaining American Sign Language skills for career opportunities. There is an option to learn how to sign the National Anthem to be performed as a group at GHHS home games. Come sign with us!

Special Olympics Fitness Club

An inclusive sports club made up of members with and without disabilities participating in and learning about new physical activities to grow stronger in fitness and inclusion.
We will meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 5:00 - 6:00 PM.
Sports Information Club

Purpose of Club: To highlight, promote and cover Green Hill Athletics for Green Hill Athletics and the Green Hill Sports Network
STEMHawks (S.T.E.M Club)

Small project-based to further and enrich the EDP. Must be scheduled for a STEM course in that school year.

Student Council

The student council is the governing body representing students at Green Hill High School. Students from every grade are represented, serving as a line of communication between students and administration regarding the needs and wants of our school community. We serve our student community by hosting various events throughout the year to engage our students in school spirit and community awareness. Our student council will be members of the Tennessee Association of Student Councils where we will be involved in various service projects which serve to help our state, our town, and our school.
Student Council Meetings will occur on Thursday mornings each week at 8:00 AM.
STEP Team

Purpose: The step team is a performance-based step organization committed to representing the greatness of the step team, its members, and GHHS. The step team is rooted in making a positive, inclusive, and inspiring impact through performances as well as creating an opportunity for its members to be successful as students and individuals.
The Book Nest

The Book Nest is Green Hill's new book club! We will choose a book to read and discuss in two sections. We will discuss half of every book every two weeks.
We will meet every two weeks in the mornings from 8:00 to 8:40. Day of the week is TBA
